Yours truly was born in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, at my mother's place (November 18th, 1978). My father is from Orissa and this cross-cultural parentage helped in learning two Modern Indian languages, besides Hindi. My Urdu vocabulary is good too, although I am a stranger to the Arabic script. I am fluent in Sri Lankan Tamil as well.

I belong to a very devout and eclectic family both from my mother's and father's sides. Faith has become the basis of my sustenance (after a brief brush with agnosticism!) and I try beginning and ending my day with a word of prayer.
